At Rok Cork that is our number #1 priority, to continuously promote the sustainability of the Cork trees in our home country of Portugal at the same time giving back by providing employment to all the families who work hard making our beautiful products.   Did you know that Cork trees need to be harvested every 7-9 years to keep growing a healthy long life, and by doing so it allows the tree to absorb CO2 3 to 5 times more than trees that are not harvested.
